Weekend Concierge

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and customer‑focused Weekend Concierge to join our residential building team in London. The role covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts, providing a professional front‑of‑house service and ensuring the building remains safe, secure and well presented.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome residents, visitors and contractors with a courteous and helpful attitude.
• Handle resident enquiries in person, by phone and email.
• Control building access, allowing only authorised visitors.
• Conduct regular internal patrols to spot security, maintenance or health‑and‑safety issues.
• Respond to emergencies such as water leaks, taking immediate action and escalating when required.
• Assist residents during building issues and keep communication clear.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, contractor visits and daily activities.
• Support delivery and parcel handling (low volume).
• Keep communal areas clean, tidy and presentable throughout the day.
• Perform light litter picking and ensure bins are placed for collection each morning.
• Collaborate with the cleaning team on Saturdays and monitor overall presentation.
• Report maintenance problems promptly to contractors or management.
• Follow health‑and‑safety procedures, company policies and emergency protocols.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a concierge, front‑of‑house, customer service or hospitality role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, approachable and reliable demeanor.
• Ability to work independently, especially on Sundays.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude when dealing with building issues.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and calm under pressure.
• Organised with great attention to detail.

Required skills

• Basic IT skills, including email and incident‑reporting systems.
