Weekend Cook – Part‑Time (10 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Weekend Cook to join our catering team in Stanwell. The role involves preparing high‑quality meals for residents and guests during the weekend service, ensuring dietary and cultural requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for a busy resident restaurant service on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Follow resident food profiles to accommodate individual dietary needs.
• Complete basic catering administration, record meals sold and report resident feedback to the Chef Manager.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety and health‑and‑safety standards in line with legislation.
• Plan and manage your own time effectively during service.
• Engage positively with elderly and vulnerable residents, their families and other customers.

Required profile

• Previous catering and hands‑on food preparation experience.
• Ability to commute to Stanwell (TW19).
• Professional and compassionate communication with elderly and vulnerable customers.
• Good verbal and written English skills.
• Willingness to attend initial face‑to‑face training and complete online training.

What we offer

• £14 per hour.
• Part‑time permanent contract – 10 hours per week (Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 am‑1:30 pm).
