Weekend Hospitality Host/Hostess

About the role

As a Hospitality Host or Hostess at a Barchester care home, you will help create a warm, welcoming environment for residents during weekends. You will deliver first‑class hospitality in the dining room and bar areas, supporting a stimulating atmosphere that enhances residents' quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive service to residents and visitors in the dining and bar areas.
• Serve meals, snacks and alcoholic beverages in accordance with licensing regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining and bar spaces.
• Assist with the setup and delivery of events and activities.
• Engage regularly with residents, their families and fellow staff members.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Required profile

• No formal qualifications required; experience in hospitality or a care setting is desirable.
• Personable, caring and genuinely interested in residents' wellbeing.
• Over 18 years of age, able to work weekends.
