Weekend Housekeeping Assistant

About the role

Join Ramsay Health Care UK as a Weekend Housekeeping Assistant at New Hall Hospital. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors during weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect all hospital areas, including wards, theatres, outpatient clinics and public spaces.
• Follow infection‑control procedures and hospital hygiene standards.
• Manage your own workload and ensure all tasks are completed within the shift.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the facilities team.
• Support the wider housekeeping team and collaborate with clinical staff as needed.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a patient‑facing mindset.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and ability to adapt quickly.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliability and ability to manage a weekend shift pattern.
