About the role

As a Weekend Receptionist at our Barchester care home, you will be the friendly first point of contact for residents, visitors and families, helping to create a warm and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls and direct enquiries.
Greet and sign‑in visitors, ensuring a pleasant reception experience.
Manage the reception area, including tidying and maintaining a professional appearance.
Show prospective residents and their families around the facility.
Perform basic administrative duties such as typing, photocopying and filing.

Required profile

Professional, caring and courteous demeanor.
Well‑organised with a genuine interest in residents' wellbeing.
Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills.
No formal qualifications required.
