Welfare Administrator

About the role

The school is seeking a proactive Welfare Administrator to join its supportive secondary school community in Ealing. This full‑time, onsite position starts in September and combines administrative duties with direct student welfare support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative assistance to the welfare and pastoral teams.
• Manage incoming calls, take messages and direct enquiries appropriately.
• Welcome visitors and act as the first point of contact.
• Assist students requiring first aid or medical support, maintaining accurate records.
• Handle confidential welfare documentation and update student information.
• Liaise with parents, carers, staff and external professionals as needed.
• Support attendance, safeguarding and pastoral administration processes.

Required profile

• Organised and confident in handling administrative tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Experience in a busy office, reception or school environment.
• Valid First Aid qualification (proof required before start).

Required skills

• First Aid certification.
