Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator – Care Home

About the role

As a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Alice Court Care Home, you will create and deliver a varied programme of activities that promote the physical, psychological and social wellbeing of our residents. You will work closely with residents, families and staff to ensure each person’s preferences and life history are respected.

Key responsibilities

• Identify residents’ life stories, needs and preferences through listening and discussion.
• Develop a monthly wellbeing and activity plan and a weekly overview for the Home Manager.
• Organise and deliver activities, events and outings, encouraging participation from staff, relatives and visitors.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment that reflects the home’s professional image.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience working with older people in a residential nursing or dementia setting.
• Proven ability to plan and coordinate activities and events.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude toward older adults and commitment to delivering high‑quality, stimulating experiences.
