Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator

About the role

The Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator will design and deliver a varied programme of activities that promote the physical, mental and social wellbeing of residents at Clayton Manor Care Home in Congleton. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will help create a supportive environment where dignity, independence and choice are at the forefront of daily life.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a monthly wellbeing and activity plan together with a weekly overview.
• Identify each resident’s life history, preferences and needs by listening to them and their families.
• Organise and coordinate activities, events and outings, encouraging participation from staff, relatives and visitors.
• Ensure a safe living and working environment that reflects the home’s professional image.
• Document and report activity outcomes to the Home Manager.

Required profile

• Experience working with older adults in a residential nursing or dementia setting.
• Proven ability to plan and run activities and events.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high‑quality, stimulating experiences for residents.
