Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator

About the role

As a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Avery Healthcare’s Clayton Manor Care Home, you will create and deliver a varied programme of activities that supports the physical, psychological and social wellbeing of our residents. You will work closely with residents, their families and the care team to ensure each person enjoys a meaningful, dignified daily experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run a wide range of activities that stimulate residents’ physical, mental and social health.
• Gather each resident’s life history, preferences and needs by listening to them and their families.
• Prepare a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview for the Home Manager.
• Organise events, outings and special occasions, encouraging participation from staff, relatives and visitors.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and uphold the home’s professional image.
