Wellbeing Manager – Care Home (Banchory)

About the role
We are looking for a Wellbeing Manager to join the brand‑new Raemoir Manor Care Home in Banchory. You will help shape the social environment and wellbeing culture from day one, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere for residents, many of whom have dementia.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, plan and deliver a high‑quality, person‑centred activities programme for individuals and groups.
- Lead both group and one‑to‑one activities tailored to residents’ interests, abilities and care needs.
- Collaborate with the Home Manager and care staff to ensure activities align with individual care plans.
- Maintain accurate activity records and continuously review the programme for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families and staff to encourage participation and social interaction.
Required profile
- Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator or in a similar role within a care setting.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging activities for older adults, including those with dementia.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Confident, creative and proactive approach with good communication skills.
Required skills
What we offer
- £15.50 per hour, contracted to 40 hours per week.
- Pension, paid PVG, uniform and 5.6 weeks annual leave.
