Wills and Planning Chartered Legal Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Chartered Legal Executive to supervise and quality‑assure our private client estate‑planning services. The role focuses on wills, trusts and Lasting Power of Attorney documentation, with no billable targets, offering a balanced work‑life environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced solicitors and technical professionals to ensure high‑quality file progression.
• Review and verify the legal and technical accuracy of wills, trusts and LPA documents.
• Provide feedback and recommend changes to meet clients' estate‑planning objectives.
• Liaise closely with the estate‑planning team, offering technical support and guidance.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards through rigorous quality‑assurance processes.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX, STEP, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning with extensive wills‑writing experience.
• Experience in tax planning related to lifetime planning.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

What we offer

• Salary starting from £33,000 (range £30,001‑£45,000) plus excellent benefits.
