Wills and Probate Chartered Legal Executive

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Wills and Probate Chartered Legal Executive to join our estate‑planning team. The role focuses on supervising the preparation of wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney, ensuring technical and legal accuracy while supporting a balanced, non‑billable workload.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside solicitors and technical professionals to oversee the quality and progression of client files.
• Review and verify wills, trusts and LPA documents for legal compliance and alignment with client instructions.
• Provide feedback and recommend changes to meet estate‑planning objectives.
• Liaise with the wider estate‑planning team, offering technical support and answering queries.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality‑assurance processes.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX, STEP member or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning, wills drafting and related tax considerations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

What we offer
