Wills and Probate Solicitor – Private Client Supervision

About the role

We are seeking a Wills and Probate Solicitor to lead our private client supervision function within the estate planning team. The role offers a balanced workload with no billable targets, allowing you to focus on quality and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced solicitors and technical professionals to ensure high‑quality file progression.
• Review and quality‑assure wills, trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) for legal and technical accuracy.
• Provide feedback and necessary changes to meet clients' estate‑planning objectives.
• Liaise with the estate‑planning team, offering technical support and answering queries.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX, STEP or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning, wills drafting and trust structures.
• Experience with tax planning in the context of lifetime planning.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
