About the role
We are seeking a Windows 11 Deployment Engineer to join our client’s IT Services team in Glasgow. The role involves planning, installing and supporting Windows operating system upgrades across multiple commercial and public sector sites in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy Windows 11 (and upcoming Windows 12) across client locations.
- Configure and test operating system images to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration with existing IT environments.
- Provide on‑site support during roll‑out phases and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deployment processes and outcomes.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a similar Windows deployment role.
- Strong client‑facing skills and ability to build relationships.
- Own reliable transport for travel between sites.
- Valid Basic Disclosure Scotland certificate.
Required skills
- Windows 11 deployment.
- Windows 12 deployment (or preparation for upcoming releases).
