WIP Billing/Revenue Accountant

About the role

This contract position supports the account management teams of a creative agency by delivering accurate project finance data and ensuring smooth financial operations. The role lasts for two months and is based in central London, with three days per week on site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage weekly Work‑in‑Progress (WIP) balances across the group.
• Manage client billing and invoicing, including credit assessments and negotiating terms.
• Prepare project‑level cash‑flow forecasts and support group cash‑flow management.
• Reconcile and close projects, ensuring financial accuracy and timely reporting.
• Manage debtor balances and support effective credit control.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Train new starters on Paprika software and internal finance processes.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships across departments.
• Self‑motivated with strong prioritisation and deadline management.
• Organised, diligent, and detail‑oriented.
• Adaptable to changing priorities.
