Wireless Security Technician – Trainee

About the role

This entry‑level position is field‑based, supporting a family‑run wireless security company across the South of England. You will receive full training on installing, maintaining and servicing wireless camera and alarm systems on construction sites, housing developments and other commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain wireless security and CCTV systems at client sites.
• Assist with site surveys and mapping to plan system layouts.
• Travel to various locations across South England, representing the company professionally.
• Diagnose faults and perform on‑site problem solving under the guidance of senior engineers.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel and work on construction or commercial sites.
• Background in site‑based work or field service.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of wireless security systems.
• Experience or familiarity with CCTV and alarm installations.
• Basic fault‑finding and technical troubleshooting abilities.
