Work Placement Assessor – Early Years

About the role

You will coordinate and monitor work placements for the 16‑19 Early Years study programme, liaising with employers to develop placement opportunities and ensuring quality assurance throughout.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and manage work placement opportunities with local employers.
• Monitor and assess learners on placement, evaluating competencies for T‑Levels and Early Years qualifications.
• Support quality assurance processes and maintain accurate placement records.
• Schedule and conduct site visits, handling associated administrative duties.

Required profile

• Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification.
• Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy qualification.
• A1/TAQA Assessor qualification (or willingness to obtain within one year).
• Relevant Health and Safety qualification (or willingness to obtain within one year).
• Strong experience in early years education or child development.
• Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel across Lancashire.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Outlook for scheduling and communication.
