Workday Analyst – London

About the role

We are seeking a Workday Analyst to own and evolve the Workday platform for a fast‑growing global commodities business. You will act as the internal subject‑matter expert, ensuring the system delivers maximum value across HR, Finance and IT functions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Workday performance, stability and data integrity.
• Configure business processes, workflows, security settings and reporting structures.
• Provide day‑to‑day support, troubleshoot issues and deliver practical solutions.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and IT to gather requirements and implement enhancements.
• Develop insightful reports and dashboards to aid decision‑making.
• Maintain documentation, governance standards and best‑practice processes.
• Support Workday releases, testing and rollout of new functionality.
• Drive automation, continuous improvement and user adoption globally.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting and configuring Workday, preferably across HCM and/or Financials.
• Strong understanding of Workday business processes, reporting and data structures.
• Experience maintaining data quality and governance within Workday.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver practical solutions.
• Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders in HR, Finance and IT.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
