Workday Systems Lead – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Systems Lead on a six‑month fixed‑term basis for a leading financial services organisation in London. The role will drive the enhancement, optimisation and delivery of Workday HCM initiatives, working closely with HR, technology and business teams to ensure successful system changes across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration and implementation of Workday system changes, enhancements and upgrades.
• Manage Workday release cycles, testing, deployment and post‑go‑live support.
• Partner with HR and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on Workday best practices and future roadmap.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, training and change‑management activities.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and communicate progress effectively.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Workday system change initiatives.
• Hands‑on Workday HCM configuration expertise.
• Background working in large financial services organisations.
• Experience supporting HR technology transformation programmes.
