Working Foreperson (Foreman) – Construction Site Supervisor

About the role
The Working Foreperson will lead a growing team delivering decarbonisation, cyclical and FRA projects across Devon, Cornwall and the South West. Reporting to the Contract Manager and Business Manager, you will ensure work is completed safely, on time and to specification.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed reports for cost control and ordering.
- Supervise subcontractors and in‑house labour on site, checking and signing off completed work.
- Manage daily productivity, track progress and communicate status to the Contracts Manager.
- Conduct health and safety checks, monitor PPE, vehicle and equipment inspections.
Required profile
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Work Supervision or equivalent.
- Proven experience delivering decarbonisation projects.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- SSSTS qualification.
Required skills
- Sound knowledge of construction processes.
- Ability to lead and motivate a mixed workforce of employees and subcontractors.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
