Workplace Manager – UK Facilities

About the role

The Workplace Manager will oversee facilities coordination for Marex’s offices across the United Kingdom and selected European sites. You will ensure day‑to‑day operations run smoothly, manage preventative and planned maintenance, and uphold health and safety standards throughout the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all soft‑service facilities functions, including reception, guest services, mail, and ergonomics.
• Manage vendor contracts for building maintenance, janitorial, catering, waste management, equipment servicing and security.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify corrective actions and drive sustainability initiatives.
• Oversee space planning, alterations, and layout changes in collaboration with the technical facilities team.
• Supervise local staff such as receptionists and facilities coordinators.
• Own the on‑site shipping and receiving processes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of facilities management, particularly soft services.
• Experience managing external suppliers and contracts.
• Knowledge of office health and safety practices and building security.
• Ability to coordinate projects across multiple sites.
