Workshop Controller – Jaguar Land Rover

About the role

Join Sytner Jaguar Land Rover Stockport as a Workshop Controller and keep the service bay running smoothly. You will coordinate daily activities, support technicians and service advisors, and ensure work is completed to a high standard in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and schedule workshop workloads each day.
• Monitor progress of jobs, ensuring they are finished on time and to quality standards.
• Communicate clearly with technicians, service advisors and management.
• Motivate the team to deliver consistent, high‑quality results.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to maintain peak efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Confident communication and natural leadership qualities.
• Experience coordinating people, workflows or operational activities.
• Calm, solutions‑focused approach under pressure.
