Workshop Engineer – Mechanical & Lifting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Workshop Engineer to join a leading lifting and material handling company. You will work primarily in our Hounslow workshop, with occasional visits to customer sites, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of lifting equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fault finding, repairs, servicing and planned maintenance on lifting equipment.
• Work both in the workshop and on‑site to ensure equipment reliability.
• Undertake industry‑recognised LEEA training and apply new knowledge to daily tasks.
• Provide overtime support as required and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Background in Mechanical engineering, REME or a transferable engineering discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with fault finding, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Motivated to learn, develop and build a long‑term career in the lifting industry.
