About the role
We are seeking a Workshop Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of specialist plant and material handling equipment. Based at our modern Liverpool depot, you will work Monday‑Friday on a variety of forklift, access and handling machinery, balancing hands‑on service with technical training.
Key responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspection and testing on forklift, access and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
- Document service activities and report findings to senior engineers.
- Participate in multi‑skill training programmes to broaden technical expertise.
Required profile
- Engineering qualification or relevant hands‑on experience in plant, mechanical or vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work independently on site and follow structured procedures.
- Willingness to develop skills across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic disciplines.

- £35,000 base salary (OTE up to £45,000)
