Workshop Foreman

About the role

HTC, a long‑established commercial vehicle group, is seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to lead its busy Hemel Hempstead workshop. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safety and quality standards, and support a team of technicians delivering vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and prioritise workshop workloads to meet service deadlines.
• Lead technicians, provide guidance and maintain clear communication with parts, service and management teams.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, to quality standards and in compliance with health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate job cards, records and workshop system updates.
• Monitor performance metrics such as job completion times, downtime reduction and workmanship quality.
