Workshop Repair Technician – Airport Equipment

About the role
We are seeking a hands‑on Workshop Repair Technician to join our team on the airside of a busy airport. You will maintain and repair cargo and luggage containers, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair airport equipment, including cargo and luggage containers.
- Perform welding and other metal‑working tasks as required.
- Use hand tools to carry out routine maintenance and corrective work.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
- Adhere to all health, safety and airside security procedures.
Required profile
- Practical mechanical background, preferably from a workshop environment.
- Experience in the motor trade, fitter roles, or airport equipment repairs is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed technical instructions.

What we offer
- Competitive salary between £32,000 and £33,000 per year.
