Workshop Repair Technician – Airside Equipment

About the role
Our client is seeking a hands‑on Workshop Repair Technician to maintain and repair airside equipment at an airport facility. You will work with cargo and luggage containers, ensuring they remain serviceable and compliant with safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on airside equipment, including cargo and luggage containers.
- Perform welding and other fabrication tasks as required.
- Use a range of hand tools to carry out maintenance and refurbishment work.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
- Adhere to health, safety and airport security procedures.
Required profile
- Practical mechanical background with experience in a workshop environment.
- Previous work in the motor trade, fitter role, or airport equipment repairs is advantageous.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑16:30, on‑site.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

What we offer
- Full‑time permanent position.
- Competitive salary between £33,000 and £36,000 per year.
