Workshop Technician – Polishing & Fettling

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join a market‑leading precision engineering and aviation services provider. You will work on a variety of aircraft component maintenance tasks, ensuring high‑quality standards and meeting strict deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform polishing, grinding/fettling, paint stripping and shot peening on components.
• Remove and install bearing cups as required.
• Carry out receipt inspections of customer jobs and assist with dispatch, wrapping and packaging.
• Drive the company van for job logistics and ensure compliance with all safety and PPE requirements.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and data.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to work to strict deadlines.
