Yard Operative

About the role
We are seeking a Yard Operative to join a small, hands‑on team at a rural site just outside Chipping Campden. The role is full‑time, temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent, and requires immediate availability.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload stock and materials, handling heavy items safely.
- Perform general yard duties such as sorting, stacking, and moving goods.
- Maintain a tidy and organised yard environment.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Operate a forklift (FLT) when licensed.
Required profile
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting.
- Reliable team player able to work independently.
- Own transport is useful due to the rural location.
- Immediate availability to start.
Required skills
- Forklift operation (valid licence preferred).
What we offer
- Hourly rate £14.50‑£16.25 (£34K per annum equivalent).
- 45‑hour week, Monday‑Friday 07:00‑17:00.
- Potential to move into a permanent position.
