About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day teaching assignments with immediate start dates, ideal for teachers returning to the classroom or looking for varied experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Year 1 curriculum in line with school policies.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Provide minimal planning and marking, focusing on day‑to‑day instruction.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and timetables.

Required profile

• Relevant classroom experience, preferably with Year 1 pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Adaptability to work across multiple schools and environments.
• Proactive, professional attitude and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS if not already held.
• Passion for supporting young learners' development.
