About the role
Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day teaching assignments with immediate start dates, ideal for teachers returning to the classroom or looking for varied experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons to Year 1 pupils in a range of school settings.
- Maintain classroom discipline and support pupil wellbeing.
- Adapt quickly to different school policies and timetables.
- Provide minimal planning and marking, focusing on day‑to‑day delivery.
Required profile
- Relevant classroom experience, preferably with early‑year pupils.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Adaptability to work across multiple schools and environments.
- Professional, proactive attitude and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS.
- Passion for supporting Year 1 learning and development.
