About the role

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Create a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity.
• Monitor pupil progress through effective assessment and adapt teaching approaches.
• Collaborate with colleagues on whole‑school development initiatives.
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional growth.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for inspiring young learners and commitment to positive outcomes for every pupil.
