About the role

We are seeking a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join a thriving 1‑Form Entry Primary School in Greenwich. The successful candidate will create a warm, nurturing classroom where every child can thrive while delivering the National Curriculum with enthusiasm.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 1 lessons aligned to the National Curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and academic achievement.
• Contribute to the school’s well‑being and holistic learning culture.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Experience teaching Year 4 or strong references from a recent placement (ECTs are welcome).
• Current DBS clearance.
• Commitment to the school’s values of positivity, well‑being, and high standards.
