About the role

We are supporting a friendly, community‑driven primary school in Blackpool that seeks an inspiring Year 2 Teacher. This full‑time, temporary position offers the chance to shape the final stage of Key Stage 1 for a vibrant class while working in a nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver a rich, engaging curriculum for a Year 2 class.
Support pupils through the final stage of KS1, focusing on phonics and early reading development.
Collaborate with colleagues in a structured planning system.
Contribute to the school’s wellbeing, inclusion, and high‑quality teaching ethos.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status with experience teaching Key Stage 1.
