Year 2 Teacher – Fixed‑Term Primary School Role

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Colne, Lancashire, starting September 2026. This full‑time, fixed‑term position offers the chance to inspire young learners in a supportive, community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons covering phonics, reading, writing and mathematics.
• Prepare pupils for the transition to Key Stage 2, reinforcing confidence and independence.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Collaborate with a dedicated staff team to support each child’s academic, social and emotional development.
