Year 2 Teacher – KS1 Primary School (Temp-to-Perm)

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Year 2 teacher to join a vibrant mainstream primary school in North Liverpool. You will take full responsibility for a KS1 class, creating a safe, engaging environment where pupils develop strong foundations in reading, writing and maths.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Manage the whole class, from lesson preparation to assessment and reporting.
- Implement inclusive and differentiated strategies to meet the needs of every learner.
- Track pupil progress and contribute to school‑wide assessment strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support the wider school community.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); ECTs are welcome.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1.
- Commitment to inclusive practice and community impact.
- Professional, reflective attitude with a desire for continuous development.
- Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.
