Year 2 Teacher – Primary School (Full‑Time/Contract)

About the role

Join a welcoming primary school in the Ribble Valley as a Year 2 Teacher. You will help children transition into Key Stage 2 by delivering engaging, creative lessons that spark curiosity and confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inclusive, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Year 2 pupils.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels safe and motivated.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress and attainment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the senior leadership team and fellow teachers to share best practices.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
• Passion for supporting children’s academic, social and emotional development.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
