Year 2/3 Teacher – Part Time (2 Days Per Week)

About the role
This long‑term, part‑time position starts in September and involves teaching Year 2 and Year 3 pupils in a welcoming primary school in Preston. You will work two days a week, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupil progress within an inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons for Year 2 and Year 3 classes.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback.
- Create a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance learning.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching in KS1 or lower KS2.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Experienced teachers are preferred.
