Year 3 Primary Teacher – Choose Your Specialist Subject

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 3 Primary Teacher for a well‑regarded school in Hammersmith and Fulham. The successful candidate will have the freedom to select a specialist subject such as music, art, design, PE or drama and lead that programme while delivering the core National Curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Choose and develop a specialist subject area, creating a vibrant programme for pupils.
• Maintain a supportive, structured classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour.
• Use assessment data to differentiate instruction and meet individual learner needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues on school‑wide initiatives and enrichment activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised overseas equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and year‑specific learning objectives.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and a commitment to continuous professional development.
