About the role

Academics is recruiting on behalf of a well‑regarded primary school in St Albans for a Year 3 Teacher starting in September 2026. The role offers a supportive environment for both early‑career and experienced teachers to inspire pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons that foster a love of learning.
• Plan and deliver the Key Stage 2 curriculum, adapting to the needs of all learners.
• Create a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere where every child can thrive.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adjusting teaching strategies as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in primary education, preferably Key Stage 2.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for every child.
• Enthusiastic, creative and positive approach to teaching.
