Year 3 Teacher – ECTs Welcome

About the role

Milk Education is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Liverpool’s L20 area to recruit a Year 3 Teacher. The position is full‑time and ideal for early‑career teachers (ECTs) or those looking to strengthen their practice within a supportive Key Stage 2 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom for Year 3 pupils.
• Support progress in English, Maths, Science and the wider curriculum.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil achievement, adapting teaching to individual needs.
• Differentiate learning for all pupils, including those with SEND.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence and a love of learning.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, the SENCO and senior leadership to achieve the best outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Solid understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, especially Lower KS2.
• Enthusiastic, child‑centred approach with a reflective mindset.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
