Year 3 Teacher – Full Time

About the role

Veritas Education is recruiting a Year 3 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire. The role starts in September 2026 on a fixed‑term contract and focuses on guiding pupils as they move from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, creative and well‑sequenced lessons that inspire a love of learning.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievement.
• Create an inclusive classroom where every child feels safe, supported and challenged.
• Use assessment data effectively to meet the needs of all learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to school improvement.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community.

Required profile

• Experience teaching within Lower Key Stage 2.
• Ability to support pupils transitioning from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2.
• Strong classroom management and assessment skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education and high expectations.
