About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a well‑established primary school in Walton‑on‑Thames from September 2026. The position runs until May 2027 with the possibility of extension, offering a stable, long‑term teaching environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons for Year 3 pupils.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to a supportive, collaborative school community.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3.
- Passion for improving children’s learning and development.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the DBS Update Service.
Required skills
- Ability to design and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons.
- Strong classroom management techniques.
- Effective communication with pupils, parents, and staff.
