Year 3 Teacher

About the role

A welcoming primary school in Islington is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join the Key Stage 2 team from September 2026. The position offers a supportive environment focused on high‑quality teaching and pupil wellbeing, suitable for both early‑career and experienced teachers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons for a Year 3 class in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Assess and track pupil progress, providing timely feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain high standards of conduct.

Required profile

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3 experience desirable).
• Confidence delivering a broad, balanced curriculum.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Proactive, organised, and a strong team player.
