About the role
We are partnering with a vibrant mainstream primary school in Halton to find a dedicated Year 3 teacher. This full‑time, temporary position offers the chance to lead a Key Stage 2 class, supporting pupils as they transition into the next stage of their education.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, focusing on Reading, Writing and Maths.
- Take full responsibility for the class, from lesson planning through assessment and reporting.
- Implement inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies to meet the needs of every learner.
- Contribute to the school’s assessment framework and track pupil progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in the wider school community.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); Early‑Career Teachers are encouraged to apply.
- Proven classroom experience in Key Stage 2.
- Commitment to inclusive teaching and community impact.
- Reliable, reflective practitioner with a desire for professional growth.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
