Year 3 Teacher (Temporary) – Blackpool

About the role

Hays Education is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Blackpool to find an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher for a long‑term, full‑time placement starting in September. The role involves leading a Year 3 class and creating an inclusive environment where pupils thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil attainment, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, preferably Lower KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
