Year 3/5 Split Teacher – Primary School (Blackpool)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic KS2 practitioner to teach a split Year 3 and Year 5 class in a welcoming primary school in Blackpool. This full‑time, temporary position starts in September and offers the chance to work in a supportive, community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that meet the curriculum requirements for both year groups.
• Differentiate instruction to ensure progression across lower and upper KS2.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports all learners.
• Collaborate with the wider KS2 team to share best practices and resources.
• Assess, track and report on pupil progress regularly.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
