Year 4 Class Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join its primary phase in Northolt from September 2026. This full‑time, one‑year fixed‑term role offers the chance to work in an inclusive all‑through academy that values high expectations and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for a Year 4 class.
• Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
• Support pupils in developing key skills and preparing for upper KS2.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the year‑group team and wider staff.
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Required profile

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 4 experience desirable).
• A warm, structured, and nurturing teaching style.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
• Reflective and team‑oriented approach.
• Commitment to the full academic year.
