Year 4 Supply Teacher – Tonbridge Primary Schools

About the role
Hays Education is partnering with several primary schools in Tonbridge to find enthusiastic Year 4 teachers for long‑term and flexible supply assignments. You will join supportive school communities and help pupils progress through Key Stage 2.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑wide lessons for Year 4 classes.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence.
- Manage behaviour effectively and maintain high standards of discipline.
- Collaborate with colleagues, families and school leadership to support each pupil’s achievement.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Experience teaching in primary education, preferably Key Stage 2.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management capabilities.
- Commitment to pupil progress and achievement.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
