Year 4 Teacher – Full‑time (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join our Brent school in September 2026. You will bring curiosity‑driven lessons to young learners, turning everyday questions into engaging learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, standards‑aligned lessons for Year 4 pupils.
• Maintain a vibrant classroom environment using the school’s excellent resources.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with supportive colleagues and contribute to a wellbeing‑focused school culture.
• Complete all safeguarding, DBS, and safeguarding‑related checks in line with DfE guidance.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Recent professional references.
• Valid enhanced DBS check and subscription to the DBS Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Positive, energetic attitude and a commitment to child safety.
